Process #2: Scholarship – Application Form

In memory of Kae Sumner-Einfeldt, Virginia Linquist-Winker, Robert Rader, Carolyn Goldstein and Charles & Doris Chickering – Tall Clubs International Foundation awards annual scholarships to deserving High School Seniors in North America (United States and Canada only). 
The Tall Club Foundation scholarship application submission timeline is now open and you may now complete your submission.
 
At the bottom, you will have a choice to submit or save and resume later.  YOU must respond to the acknowledgements and hit SUBMIT to ensure your application is accepted.  You will receive an email notice of the submission.

Instructions:

  • Read all the information on Scholarship Requirements page before filling out this application form. Forms that do not meet the outlined requirements will NOT be considered.
  • When filling out this form, any field that has a red * next to the field denotes a MANDATORY column. 
  • Form CANNOT be submitted until all mandatory columns are filled in.
  • Do NOT use the & value in your text fields.  Use the word ‘and’ instead as the use of the ‘&’ will can cause an issue in the submission.
  • After filling out the entire form and responding to the Submission Acknowledgements – press Submit.  If there are errors in the submission, your application will not be accepted, and the form will indicate which fields require correction.
  • There is also a ‘Save and Resume Later‘ option.  If you make this selection, a link will appear and you must input your email;  you will receive an email with the link to be used to continue your application submission. 
  • Once the form is successfully submitted, the following individuals will get an email notification:
    • Student who submitted the Scholarship Application will receive:
      • “Scholarship Application Submitted” Email Confirmation showing all the information that was submitted by the student.
    • Scholarship Coordinator for the Sponsoring Member Club/Member-At-Large will receive an email notification as follows:
      •  “Scholarship Application Submitted” Email Confirmation showing all the information that was submitted by the student.
    • TCI Foundation:
      • TCI Foundation will receive a copy of ALL notifications listed above.

As listed on the Scholarship Requirements page – you are required to fill out the General Release Form.  We’ve attached a copy of this form here for your convenience:  General Release Form (Blank)

If you have any questions, please review the requirement instruction in Process #1.  REMINDER:  Files should be in PDF format except for the Accomplishments list, save this and upload as an Excel (xlsx) spreadsheet, and your photo, which must be saved as a JPEG file.

NOTE; It is the responsibility of the applicant to VALIDATE recommenders receive the email with direction. Be sure recommenders check spam/junk folders. If the school does not allow the recommendations to be released to the student, a work around process of including a ‘dummy’ PDF file, which states the document is not releasable to you, may be used to complete this form.

Activities, Awards, Community or Volunteer Service, etc.

Instructions to applicant: Please list awards and activities from your high school time. Include academic accomplishments as well as extra-curricular participation/achievements and personal accomplishments. List all or as many as you would like; add lines as required to reflect these.

Submission Requirements

The following files must be attached to this application. With the exception of your recent photo, files MUST be in PDF format and total file size cannot exceed 32 MB.
