Acts as one of four on-court referees while serving as a role model for young athletes within the St Mary Magdalene Parish Athletic Program. As a Basketball Referee, I directly impact the experience of players, coaches, and spectators on every game day. I consistently enforce the league rules and create a fun, learning, and safe atmosphere for all players. I teach youth core concepts including the importance of sportsmanship values throughout the games. I also rotate in on the responsibility of managing the time clock and scoreboard. I am responsible for cultivating effective communication skills and interacting with players, coaches, and spectators respectfully and professionally. I serve as a role model for aspiring athletes and make a meaningful impact on their athletic journey.
