Hamilton Steelworkers Area Council "Community Matters" Scholarship - 2024 - 12th grade : I received this award for my volunteerism with agencies and groups dealing with those most in need in our community.

Hamilton Chamber of Commerce Innovation Award and ArcelorMittal Dofasco Steel Making Award - 2023 - 11th grade : To address the worldwide issue of water scarcity, I co-designed Oasis: a device that uses solar energy, reusable technology, and thermodynamic principles to achieve portable thermal water desalination and purification. At the Bay Area Engineering Fair, the design foundations and subsequent world applications earned the awards listed.

Molten Academic Award - 2022, 2023 - 10th, 11th grade : I play competitive provincial-level basketball, currently achieving an undefeated season. I have earned the Molten Award for maintaining a high scholastic average in the league.

Immerse Education Physics Program Scholarship - 2023 - 11th grade : This scholarship allowed me to participate in the Immerse Education Physics course at the University of Cambridge (UK) during summer of 2023. In this program, I explored computational physics, worked with like-minded peers to navigate engineering-based problems, and simulated gravitational interactions between celestial bodies using Python.

Deans Dinner Attende:
I attended the dean's dinner over five times throughout my Shawnigan Career.
Teachers nominate students who demonstrate proficient effort in academic classes for a special dinner and other students who achieve similar results.

Online School:
Reached Graduating requirements by end of Grade 11, however I kept doing courses to gain more credits and boost my average. I have accumulated a 95.6% average across all 13 Grade 12 courses I took.

Shawnigan Round Table:
Only a select few (8 students), including myself, were chosen to represent the student body by voicing concerns and suggestions and volunteering as needed. Out of over 120 students, eight were selected based on their academic and school leadership skills and voted on by the grade.

Junior & Senior Film Arts Awards:
I received both the Junior Film Arts Award and the Senior Film Arts Prize at Shawnigan Lake School. These awards recognize the most committed students to the Film Arts Program. As a junior enrolled in the senior class, I was honoured with both awards, showcasing my dedication and abilities in the field.

I earned the Most Valuable Player award in rugby through my unwavering determination and skill in the sport.

Selected to Attend Service Trip to Costa Rica:
I was selected to participate in a service trip to Costa Rica, where we helped remove invasive species affecting local areas.
During the trip, we also had the opportunity to visit local village schools, which was fascinating. We played with the students and made a significant impact on their lives. (2023) 11th grade

The Duke of Edinburgh's Award is a program that encourages young people to set and achieve personal goals in community service, physical fitness, skills development, and adventurous journeys. (10th grade)

Part of a team that won a category at the National Film Festival for Talented Youth (NFFTY) “48-hour Film-Off” in Seattle, Washington.

I obtained Avalanche Safety 1 (AS1) certification, demonstrating proficiency in essential safety protocols and preparedness measures for navigating avalanche-prone terrain effectively.
Work Experience:
Worked part-time since grade 8, accumulating over 2500 hours in various roles such as waiter, dishwasher, painter, Videographer, skate host, landscaper, tennis coach, bike & canoe guide and construction
I'm currently working at an online Foreign Exchange start-up, where I learn the intricacies of communication and teamwork as I transition from fraud prevention intern to sales representative.
My vast work experience has inspired me to gain insights into different industries and develop skills in discipline and precision.
